Tandoori Fish
Ingredients
- 1 whole Fish (cleaned)
- ½ teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
- ½ teaspoon Cumin Seeds or Powder
- 225ml Yoghurt
- 1 Lemon
- 4 teaspoons Tomato Powder
- 100g Butter
- Salt to taste
Method
- Make deep cuts at a distance of one inch intervals on whole fish.
- Soak it in the mixture of yoghurt, salt, red chilli powder for 4 to 5 hours.
- Remove the fish from the mixture and bake it in a hot oven at 200°C for 8 minutes.
- Remove it from the oven and brush it with the mixture of melted butter, cumin powder and tomato powder.
- Lower oven and bake it again for 3 - 4 minutes.
- Garnish it with the sliced lemon and serve it hot with baked potatoes or green salad.
